Delete your account in the App
To start permanent account deletion, open CarVolt while signed in and follow these steps:
- Open Profile.
- Select Settings.
- Choose Delete Account.
- Review the information shown and confirm permanent deletion.
- If requested, enter your current password to verify the sensitive action.
What will be deleted?
Once confirmed, your account access is removed immediately and the following data associated with your account is deleted:
- Account information
- Email address
- Saved vehicles
- Favorites
- Route history
- Notification tokens
- Social sign-in links
- Other personal profile data
Ratings or comments may be retained where needed for community and content integrity, but they will be disconnected from your account and displayed without your identity. Reports may also be anonymized.
Account deletion is permanent and cannot be undone. You will lose access to your saved account data and active sessions. If you later return to CarVolt, you will need to create a new account.
Can’t access the App?
If you cannot sign in or access the in-App deletion option, email us from the address associated with your CarVolt account. Use the subject Account Deletion Request.
We may ask you to verify ownership before processing the request. Never email your password, verification code, access token, or other sensitive authentication information.
